Independent Record Stores

I ran across an article that I need to share with you all. http://www.janisian.com/article-internet_debacle.html
I have downloaded lots of music, but I also purchase a large share of it as well. This may seem like an advertisement but it is just to make you aware of what you in your own areas. The first place is called Electric Fetus. This is one of the best stores of its kind in the Upper Midwest. http://www.electricfetus.com/

The next is called Cheapo Records. This usually wins the award for best record store in our local Magazine called City Pages. http://www.cheapodiscs.com/

In St. Louis, I've been to a great store called Vintage Vinyl. It is on Delmar, and It just down the street from Blueberry Hill where Chuck Berry still plays once a month. http://www.vintagevinyl.com/

If you are in the Seattle area, you need to go to West Seattle to find Easy Street Records. This place is legendary in the grunge scene. Pearl Jam has even played there. They even have a little cafe with killer grub. http://easystreetonline.com/
Support your local independent record stores. All the artists that you like need an outlet besides their show to sell their discs.
